Glow goes underwater

Glow Langley calls itself BC's largest indoor light festival, and 2026 is its 10th season. This year's theme, Christmas Treasures, sends you under the sea with Santa's crew, according to Glow's 2026 page. New this year is the Crystal Palace, a three-storey walk-through with a light show.

It runs Nov 19 to Jan 2 at 6690 216 Street, and you enter the lot heading north on 216 Street. Glow takes Sundays and Christmas Day off. Doors open at 5 pm, per the Tourism Langley listing, and Glow's own calendar shows a 9 or 10 pm close depending on the night. Most nights we checked were listed at $19.99 plus fees on Glow's ticket calendar. One ticket covers the Glow-comotive train and parking, plus a visit with Santa.

Step onto a holiday movie set

Merry & Bright at Martini Town turns a working Langley film backlot into a holiday-movie village from Nov 20 to Dec 31. It's the fourth year, according to its website. Santa sits in the gazebo from 3:30 to 8:30 pm until Dec 23, and the Green Christmas Grouch causes trouble from 4 to 8 pm.

Buy tickets ahead, because there are no gate sales. Pets have to stay home. Part of every ticket goes to the Langley Food Bank.

The free one in Williams Park

The Township's drive-through display in Williams Park ran Dec 13 to 28 last year, and you had to register in advance. The Township's page says it's coming back in 2026 but hasn't posted dates. Spots went fast last year, so watch that page.

Free strolling downtown

Want lights without a ticket? Langley Christmas Village at 20340 Fraser Highway is free every day from Nov 26. Its 36-foot tree gets lit on Nov 27. Our Christmas markets guide has the hours.

Want your street on our list of best-lit houses? Comment with the block, not your house number, and we'll go for a drive.
