'Let me tell your story of motherhood'
Jenny Xu's Langley studio is not a storefront on a main street. It is a home photography studio built for the short window when a pregnancy becomes a newborn, then a cake smash.
“Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I'm Jenny, the owner and photographer at Art Hera Photography Studio in Langley, British Columbia,” she writes. “Let me tell your story of motherhood.”

DSLR at 20, weddings, then babies
“The first thing you should know about me is that I am a wife and mum of two amazing little boys,” Jenny writes on her site. “I picked up my first DSLR camera when I was 20. I started working as a wedding photographer in 2009 and discovered my love of working with newborns and babies when I had my first baby in 2012.”
“In 2017, I finished setting up my home photography studio where I can explore and fulfil my passion of photographing moms-to-be, their babies and families.” She calls the style fine art photography and the session “a transformational process.”

Four windows on the calendar
Her home page maps the timing in plain numbers: maternity at roughly 30 to 36 weeks, newborns at 5 to 14 days, babies at 3 to 12 months, cake smash around 11 to 12 months. Galleries cover each stage, and packages live on separate pricing pages.
She serves families across Langley, Surrey, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and Greater Vancouver, and thanks clients who drive in from Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Mission and Chilliwack.

Work that advertises itself
“I am committed to offering the best services and I believe my work and the satisfaction of my clients are my best advertising,” she writes. Session discounts show up on the site and Facebook when she runs them.
Master list and Google both put the rating at the top of the scale with hundreds of reviews. We are quoting her own words for the story; the galleries are the proof she wants you to scroll.

Book the week, not the drive-by
This is appointment-only work in a home studio, so we are not publishing the residential street from the master list. Email info@arthera.ca or use the contact form, and bring the baby on Jenny's timing, not yours.
If you are pregnant or planning a cake smash, start with the galleries on her website.
